Education and Credentials

Dr. Scot Martin completed his undergraduate education at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, and Austin College in Sherman, Texas. He then attended medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Martin completed a full five year General Surgery Residency at the University of Oklahoma and a full Plastic Surgery Residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. While at UAB, Dr. Martin studied under the direction of Luis O. Vasconez, M.D., a world-renowned plastic surgeon responsible for developing a number of procedures used worldwide by many plastic surgeons.

Board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Martin opened an independent practice in Las Cruces, NM in 2002. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS).
