Surgeon ProfileIn addition to extensive surgical training, Joshua Kreithen, M.D., is also an experienced artist. He combines his artistic sense of balance and aesthetic judgement with his surgical skills to create superior results. Dr. Kreithen earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh and his medical degree from the Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed a 5-year residency in general surgery at East Tennessee State University and a 3-year fellowship in plastic & reconstructive surgery at the University of Florida. Dr. Kreithen is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is affiliated with the medical staffs of Lakewood Ranch Medical Center in Lakewood Ranch and Doctors Hospital in Sarasota.
