Surgeon ProfileDr. Ennis received his bachelors degree from Birmingham Southern college under a presidential honors scholarship and graduated from medical school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Ennis completed his general surgery training at the University of Alabama and finished his plastic surgery fellowship at the University of Virginia and is double board certified by both the American Board of Surgery and The American Board of Plastic Surgery. Although these are excellent credentials, what makes Dr. Scott Ennis stand out from other surgeons is simply his talent. He has won many honors including best intern and outstanding chief resident awards for his "tireless pursuit of perfection" and "attention to detail." Dr. Ennis incorporates this philosophy most in the operating room by constantly demonstrating patience and meticulousness. He feels very passionate about obtaining the optimal result for each and every patient. Dr. Ennis also specializes in endoscopic and minimal incision surgery, which allows him to achieve dramatic results while minimizing visible scars. Dr. Ennis has an artistic eye that enables him to envision how subtle changes will have a significant effect on the final outcome. He has won many awards for his art work including first place in the first congressional art show in which his art work hung in the capital building in Washington, DC for a full year.
